Dr. Joann Carcaterra, DO

I did not stay with this practice long. My dissatisfaction was not so much with the doctors, but the office itself. The wait time, even when I had an early morning appointment, was ridiculous. The doctors were average in their care and mannerisms. There was a receptionist who had a strong accent and was difficult to understand and always seemed to be in a hurry. I had a very difficult time getting the results of blood work and I suspected that they did not send it out. Also the girl who took my blood appeared to be sick and was sniffling and coughing. I requested billing statements from this office as well as many others over the years. This was the only office whose manager would not mail them (my only option was to have them faxed or pick them up). Finally I was totally disrespected by an office staff member who ignored my request for assistance yet helped the woman after me. When I asked to speak to her and brought it to her attention, rather than apologizing she stated "I… don't work the front desk! Is that what you wanted to tell me?" So rude! (The receptionist was kind enough to assist)
