Dr. Joann Ann Michalik Mays, MD

I am a first time mother and felt like Dr. Mays treated me like I was an idiot. Also, she would make comments that were not needed. I had a preemie and she acted like something was wrong because his head was large. She said we would just wiat a few months and the do an ultrasound. Made her do one that week. No point in saying that and making me worry. I have since switched doctors,

I have three children, all of which are patients of Dr. Mays. I must say that she is very nice and caring. She will stop at nothing to make sure that you have an answer to your problems. She is also very thorough. She orders test after test to rule out any potential problems, and she will stay on the job until you have all of your questions answered. On several occasions, she has called me after hours to let me know what is going on with lab results or tests concerning my children. In my opinion she is the best. My family and I LOVE her! The whole atmoshpere at the office is great! EVERYONE there is very nice and caring. I would reccomend her to anyone who needed a good doctor.

Wow, what a remarkable physician she is. I was a patient of Dr. May's and now she sees my two daughters and we could not be any happier with her care, love and support. Her partners are just wonderful as well. We highly recommend Dr. Mays or any of the physicians at Redmont Pediatrics.
