After earning her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completing her pediatric residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, she relocated to the DFW area in 2004. She brings 13 years of dedicated pediatric urgent care experience to the UCC and is very excited about joining the Cook Children's Urgent Care team. Doctor Welch and her husband have 2 girls (a 3 1/2 year old and a 5 month old) and a greyhound puppy named Rosie.
