Dr. Gillis in a sense, for me, a last resort in getting help to treat and control my gout attacks. I was getting severe gout attacks as frequent as every two weeks and never waited over a month for a different gout attack. Dr. Gillis' thorough examinations, blood work, and testing has lowered my blood component levels to where they need to be. I have been without a gout flare up for a year and a half now. The staff at National Jewish Medical Center, are professional, polite and very efficient. There system they have for cgetting patients in the door and out while giving youthe time you need, is unsurpassed.

Dr. Gillis is a thorough doctor that takes the time to get to know you and feel at ease. Unlike a lot of dcotor visits, I don't feel like it is a burden to go in and be seen. The entire Staff at NJMC is prompt and efficient. They have a streamlined process for intake that works well for them as well as myself. I initially requested an appointment with Dr. Gillis to be seen for my gout which has been affecting my life negatively since I was 23. It has been nearly a year since I have been going to doctor Gillis and almost 8 mos. since my last gout attack.
