Dr. Joann Marie Zotis, MD

Always professional and quite friendly. Very thorough with examinations and explanations. Always leave feeling optimistic.

Dr. Zotis seems sweet, but her lack of experience and customer interaction becomes apparent at the first visit. Came in with a severe ankle injury and had xrays. She determined it was a fracture and I was given a boot to wear for a month, non-weight bearing. Never showed me the xrays, even after asking. Had pain within 3 weeks and wanted to get an mri, but was told to wait and wear the boot. After 7 weeks, I got the mri and was told the doctor couldn't look at the report because she isn't in the office on Th, Fri, Sat, and Sun. I insisted because of the pain and was told to continue wearing the boot for 2 more weeks. Finally got a second opinion from a fantastic podiatrist/orthopedic foot specialist, Dr. Lowery. He noticed that I actually NEVER had a fracture to begin with and had a case of cast's disease, which happens from wearing a boot too long. I'm 48 years old and have never had to deal with a doctor who is this negligent. I haven't even begun to tell you about the staff's… inability to check with my insurance on coverage and how they responded to my pain in person and over the phone. Please avoid this establishment.
