Dr. Joanna Bernedette Ready, MD

Dr. ready has been my doctor for many years. She is an excellent doctor and her colonoscopies are not painful. She also fixed my swallowing problem in 2019 with a procedure. Highly recommended and much appreciated for her care.

Horrible experience. An appointment that I'll remember forever for how condescending it was. I sought out Dr Ready for her expertise on liver diseases. Instead of trying to root cause my lab results and listening to my medical history, she was basically assuming of being a druggie and and I should somehow confess drug use to her which I never had. It was a useless appointment and my lab numbers went back to normal without anyone doing anything. What a condescending experience for nothing. Extremely unprofessional.

This doctor is so awful I can’t believe that she is still holding a job?? She is rude and my daughter ended up in the ER for something that could have been detected three months ago, it took her 3 weeks to return lab results and she still didn’t answer any questions she discharged my daughter from hospital stay without talking to us about diagnosis nor did she have any follow up appointments!

The worst doctor I have ever seen. Her lack of care for my mother was instrumental in her early death from Dr. Ready NOT treating her 'diagnosed' hemochromotosis. There was no reason for my mother to die, except Dr. Ready stopped checking her iron levels. She is a disgrace as a doctor.

In my opinion, one of the best GI doctors west of the Mississippi. Very knowledgeable and knows her specialty. Is very dedicated to her field and is deeply concern about healing/curing her patients.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Ready's.It is difficult to get an appointment with her but that is because she is head of the GI Dept. She also does most of the outpatient procedures. She tells it like she sees it, which is something I like. I also know that at times she gos out of the way to get back to me. She may not be everybody's cup of tea but she is mine. Thank you Dr. Ready!

She runs the hep c clinic & treats me like a junkie idiot. I have never been either.She refuses to justify or even discuss her opinion. Kaiser says she's the only doctor administering treatment. >1% of the population is afflicted with this disease. I was told to look the information up on the internet and to find another doctor if I needed explanations.I have a MS in physics and I have studied microbiology and genetics. If I need a discussion, it's because there is something that requires an explanation. Perhaps she's over-loaded or just tired of her job. Or maybe she simply hasn't an ounce of empathy or compassion. In any case, she doesn't function in a professional manor.We're not all junkies. Some of us were merely alive before the 80's, before there were any known fatal blood-born diseases, before anybody was cautious when handling blood.

Thinks she god. Snippy and did not want to answer health problem. Typical insurance crony. Prefers people die but pay their health bill first.
