Dr. Joanna Zurada Zurada, MD

I believe that it is important for a doctor to have a competent office staff. Dr. Zurada may have a good bedside manner and be knowledgeable, however, there is no excuse for double booking patients and having them wait at least 1hr in an exam room to be seen. That was my first experience months ago but decided to give the office another try Today, I experienced such bad customer/patient service that I will not be returning to this office. I had an appointment today. It was made months ago and I took a half of day from work, so that I could get there on time. The office called me last week on my cell phone to confirm. I arrived at the office today and the door is locked, no lights and no sign posted. I thought that was strange but figured there must have been an emergency, which I can understand and realize that sometimes you have to close the office. What I do not understand is how NO ONE from the office called me to cancel the appointment??? I had no missed calls from… the office no voice mails nothing. While waiting outside the locked door, another patient showed up and had the same appointment time with me and with the same doctor. ( Hence why you will wait for at least 1 hr in the exam room since they double book and neither of our appointments were quick ones in regards to the nature of our visit) The other patient was upset as well, as she rushed to get there and did not receive a call either on her cell phone. Why was there no sign placed on the door? I called the office as I waited outside the locked door and it had no announcement that the office was closed nor went to the doctor's answering service which it should have when the office is closed for the day. I have worked in doctor's offices before and have been in healthcare for over 20 years. I have never seen an office have such disregard for their patient's time. I find it funny that they called my cell to confirm but not to cancel. There is NO excuse for what happened today. A simple call to all patients to let them know the appointments for the day have to be cancelled did not happen and there is no excuse. No consideration what so ever for the patient. I hope they learn from this.

I went to Dr Zurada for a checkup. She is easy to talk to and knows how to spot basil cell melanoma. I don't even sit out in the sun, but did when I was very young. Luckily, she discovered it in the early stage, so I could have it removed quickly.

I went to see Dr. Zurada regarding botox and fillers. She was extremely honest and gave me the pros and cons and never pushed me to get Botox or fillers. Instead she told me to make a decision based on the information I was given. I did appreciate her honesty and I do trust her opinion. I highly recommend Dr. Zurada to anyone who want a fantastic Dermatologist who cares about her patients.

Overall very good doctor, I would recommend doctor Zurada, very professional and accurate.

Dr. Zurada is a lovely person. She is extremely professional and attentive. Dr. Zurada is willing to take the time with her patients to explain, as well as answer any questions one may have. I've been seeing her for about 5 years now, and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Zurada is a great dermatologist.I found her on my insurance plan website and have been so pleased! I have seen her a few times and she has accurately and efficiently treated all my skin problems. She really took the time to talk to me.I would definitely refer her to my friends and family.
