Dr. Joanne Szalkay Byers, MD

Dr. Byers asked if she could get me an appointment at the Premier Radiology Office for a mammogram. I said fine...not realizing all radiologists are not created equal. I went, got an all clear from the place. Two weeks later, I notice things aren't right. I go to my Gyn. who sends me to the Breast Center at Forbes. They find cancer. I guess I assume that a primary care Phys. would actually care about her patients, particularly when mistakes were made. I never got a call of concern from that office. My Gyn called me three times to answer concerns and reassure me. Never felt she ever really listened to me.

I was sick on a Saturday, and my ife called the on call doctor.Dr byers called back.... told my wife to wake me up so she could talk to me. She then started giving me crap for not calling her sooner and said that she couldn't help me. So why wake a sick diabetic jerk.
