I went to see Dr. Favuzza twice for painful fissure problems. Both visits were kind of stressful. Every well-intended question (to understand my condition better) is taken as a challenge to her authority. My plead for help (the pain was completely debilitating) was taken as an attempt to get unwarranted time off work. She spent very little time educating me about the condition and home-care. She also kind of brushed me off when I was trying to describe the problems I was having with the treatment.

I had a rectal mass from a botched procedure 20 years ago. Dr Favuzza was amazing. Great bedside manner, took as much time as I needed to answer all my questions and made me feel great. I have read a few of the negative reviews here and it’s hard for me to believe that this could actually be Dr Favuzza. She is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone with a booty issue.

I had a thrombosed hemorrhoid that was extremely painful. Dr. Favuzza performed surgery on it for me right there at the first visit. She was light-hearted, warm and friendly. This was so helpful, as having a butt problem is nobody's idea of a good time. She really put me at ease. Her assistant didn't have the greatest bedside manner, but was okay. Dr. F performed the surgery beautifully, even taking off a little extra tissue so that I wouldn't have to come back and have anything removed later. If my tush ever needs help again, I hope she's still practicing here in Chicago. I recommend her highly (and I have to say, I'm very picky and generally feel let down, insulted by and angry at most doctors).

Doctor is not compassionate towards her patient.

She was informative and made my condition more manageable, which was better than previous doctors

Love, love Dr. Favuzza, staff and all involved. Have had two cancer related sxs with her. Am very pleased with all the personal care and good results.

I went to Dr. Favuzza for an embarrassing and painful condition. She never really knew the extent of the problem because she only examined me visually without a scope. Under her care I got much worse. I also developed bad diarrhea. I went to a very well known colorectal surgeon for a second opinion who recommended an injection. She flatly refused and seemed upset about the second opinion. I changed doctors and got the injection and am much improved.
