Dr. Joaquin Diaz JR., MD

It is with a great concern I am having to write this review, sadly I must report along the years Dr. Joaquin Diaz has lost his way not only as a doctor but as a human being. I was his patient for about 10 years, Dr. Diaz had performed a partial nail removal (Matrixectomy) from my right toenail to remove the ingrown. About 2 yrs ago my other foot started having reoccurring ingrowns, I immediately came in to see him to have the nail pulled & treated which he neglected to do instead he kept cutting corners by only removing a small part of the nail and not performing the maxtrixectomy. Again the nail became ingrown and so again I reached out this year to see if he’d perform the procedure instead he made up stories about possibly coming down w/a reaction from the maxtrixectomy & even said “if I came down w/an infection that the antibiotics might not work“ and “I’d end up in the hospital and get the corona virus“; once again he only agreed to pull a small part of the nail and so I… proceeded to hang up on him. To conclude Dr. Diaz will cut corners and not resolve your issues only so you’ll have to come back to him time and time again $$$, don’t not let this Dr. use you as a guinea pig. He no longer cares or has concern for his patients, don’t let him bully you or make you feel like you don’t know what’s best for you, you are the patient and what you want does matter!!!
