I injured myself moving and it seemed as though surgery was inevitable, to complicate things more, this happened while elective procedures were prohibited due to COVID and virtual meetings were the safest way to maintain contact. Dr. Estrada and his staff were phenomenal. Extremely helpful, very responsive to my inquiries, and after a month of at home treatments and their counseling, I was able to correct the matter and avoid an invasive surgery. I would recommend Dr. Estrada and his office to anyone without a moments hesitation. I’m very grateful for their care and professionalism.

I am from Texas and I am disappointed that this is the level of care for the 3rd largest city in America. The Doctor seemed knowledgeable for this was an existing problem. He has a office at Advocate Health Care sadly that does not take payment at the time the visit is over. A MONTH AND A HALF LATER!!! I receive a bill from the doctors office and the hospital ???!!! $300 later I see I've made a huge mistake!!! I tried calling Dr. Estrada office for clarity and was placed on hold, toss from person to person for nearly an hour. I do not need an answer because if after an hour this is how you treat a potential patient? BULLET AVOIDED! I now fully understand i have to literally fly back to Houston to pay my co pay after the doctors visit! and be greeted by a warm, compassionate & informative staff that is happy to help! if you have the smallest expectation of streamline fluid health care Experience?!! prepare to be disappointed and underwhelmed! Had a surgery performed by Dr Estrada. From the surgical incision to post operative recovery tips - it’s gone very smoothly. Dr Estrada listens to his patients and is very good at what he does.

Dr. Joaquin Estrada performed surgery to perform a large polyp and remove part of my colon and also performed a colonoscopy. I am grateful for his office and pleasant bedside manner, I trust his skills and competence. I would without any reservations highly recommend him and his team. Jerry Miller
