She's the worst doctor, I can't believe she is still in business.

My husband and I were patients for eight years. Never felt totally comfortable with her, we always question why we stayed. Prescriptions were often written wrong and at times her bedside manner was questionable. No longer see her. Something just seemed off.

Dr. Duffy has been my PCP for less than 1 month at Comm. Med. Ctr. on Haverhill St. in Andover MA, and I refuse to go back. Dr. Duffy insisted I come in for an appointment despite me having an appointment with a specialist the following week; that was scheduled to do the same exact invasive procedure that she wanted to do today. Dr. Duffy tried bullying and then shaming me. She gave me no other options or medical advise besides "this appointment will be noted as a cancellation". As I left the consult room she slammed the door similar to child having a temper tantrum. BUYER BEWARE for those so called medical professionals that do not respect their patient's concerns and lack professionalism when they do not get their way.

I was a patient here for well over two years. At first it wasn’t but it got worse fast. She switched over medication for me and then when I asked to go back to the original, there was no record of them switching it in the first place. I had to go in multiple times to fill out paperwork that was for college that they ”forgot” to do at my physical and was charged to full out forms that I coils have done over the phone. When I finally got the sense to switch I saw how much they messed up my records. They wrote down that I had received 12 immunizations in one day and my new doctor was having trouble interpreting it. She didn't care about the symptoms that I was coming in with and when she did she had to pull out a book to look for what she needed. Staff was also very rude and seemed inconvenienced that I was there.

I was concerned when I learned she attended medical school in a foreign country, one where she did not speak the language. Clearly she has not learned much. She ordered a test for me; the office tech came back to ask if she wanted the MRI or the CAT scan, as she did not mark which. Dr Duffy asked, "What's the difference?" The tech just stood looking at her, because of course this is all happening right in front of the patient. Good for that Tech! So Dr. explained what was going on, and the tech replied, "you want an MRI, not a CTScan; I will set that up." She routinely refers you out to specialists as she does not know how to deal with anything herself; and twice now, she has sent me to the WRONG specialist, so I had to return for yet another appt with her to get a referral to the proper one. The office is understaffed, so good luck getting anything without having an actual appointment. Dr insists she knows how to use their computer system, to send scripts, set up mail order… scripts, but she does not. Fortunately the office staff does know how to set things up; but trying to get them by phone is difficult as they are understaffed. I am stuck as Dr Duffy is one of the few female PCPs in the area who accepts my ins. But at least now I know, I have to be very proactive about my care, she is not able to handle it for me.

I have been seeing Dr. Duffy for over 15 years and she is a great doctor. She takes her time to listen to my concerns and will even refer you for a consultation to specialists when you want to ensure all is well. She makes sure you are OK and has even contacted me herself to check on me. I love my PCP!

Hello, The problem I have with this office is when I encountered problem with my prescription medicine at local CVS and was told to contact the doctor office to discuss with nurse assistance or anyone who is available. When called in, I ended up with voice massage service, I left my massage and it has been 2 days since and I have not been contacted yet. Then I called receptionist and explained to her that I really need to talk to anyone who can help me with my prescription and I have already left my massage and have not heard from the nurse yet, and guess what? The receptionist transferred my call to voice massage, again. I am very frustrated that I need my prescription and can't get any help. Bottom line if you need to talk to anyone at the office or any help(except the receptionist) then good luck to you. I do not recommended Good luck to all.

I went to her for a pain in my side. She told me it was my gallbladder. Perhaps if she had taken a moment to glance at my file she would have seen it was removed years earlier. She started discussing a patient (name and procedures she wanted ordered) to her nurse during my physical. The nurse had to cut her off and say they would discuss it later. Very rude and very unprofessional. I have moved onto another doctor and am very happy now. She should not be a doctor.. poor bedside manner and does not listen or read your records before she sees you.

I would never reccomend Dr. Duffy to anyone. I didn't like her from the beginning as she seemed unprofessional and rude but after a couple visits I decided I would never go back. She doesn't listen at all to what you are saying. I was sick for over 5 months and she told me it was because I needed to gain weight when I am not underweight I am an average weight for my height so that made me extremely mad knowing that clearly wasn't the problem. I told her about my multiple symptoms and it seemed like she didn't even listen. Prescribes antibiotics even though I took some a couple weeks before and it did nothing which I told her. Also sent me for a chest x Ray which I also got a couple weeks prior. She is a terrible Doctor. After being sick for so long and having your doctor not help you is so frustrating I left her office crying. Would absolutely not reccomend. Really wish I could give her no stars.
