Dr. Jocelyn Jones

Jocelyn Jones is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) with more than 20 years of professional experience working together with children, teens, adults, and seniors. She specializes intreating mood disorders, substance abuse, anxiety and trauma, abuse and neglect, cognitive distortions, divorce, grief and loss, behavioral disorders (ADHD, ODD, Conduct, delinquency) and is developing a special niche for biracial clients and their sensitive cultural concerns. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from James Madison University and her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from George Washington University.Jocelyn is trained and practiced in motivational interviewing, as well as person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral (TFCBT) methods, and brief strategic family therapies (BSFT).
