Unprofessional and unpleasant. Lacks even the smallest amount of common courteous. Curmudgeon/Termagant. Within 7 mins of meeting her, knew it was not a good fit. *Reader: Don't give up! The right MD is out there for you!*

Very mean to me when I came back impt. A second time with suicidal and self harm thoughts. She was mad I came back and that I stopped taking the meds she had prescribed two weeks earlier that were keeping me up all night and making my legs very wobbly. She wouldn't allow me to move to level two only because she was mad. I was also grieving the loss of my nephew and was accused of hiding in the hospital as to not deal with my grief on the outside with which I needed more support. I don't think she is a nice person.

If your looking for help, don’t seek it from this woman. Her manner is rude and you leave her office feeling much worse than when you entered. Go elsewhere!!!!

I was at the out of state hospital. Dr. Lahaye was really pleasant the first time I met her. I went in a second time a few weeks later and she was very angry that I was back for psychiatric symptoms. Every time I met with her she let me know she was mad in her demeanor. Wouldn't give me second level because she didn't feel like it. Glad she's not around anymore at the out of state hospital! Good luck the rest of you! Would never recommend her because of the Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde side of her.

I would never choose this Dr. again. Criticizes Rhode Island doctors, does not follow-up, and do not expect for her to return your phone call.
