Dr. Jocelyn Elizabeth Leveque, MD

Dr. Jocelyn Leveque doesn't even have a basic understanding of plastic surgery. She made mistakes during surgery, then gave me false information about my condition. Then her office avoided me when they realized what they had done. Not only is she unethical and unprofessional, she's straight up incompetent.

Here's how it went: Arrived at the clinic, explained what we wanted (mommy-makeover with lipo on the legs, abs, and abs muscles tightened) with Dr. Leveque, then we were taken to another room where we spoke to someone (nurse? intern? secretary? Who was she and what was her job?) who documented what we had talked about with the doctor where she listed all the things we wanted, tallied them up and gave us the cost estimate (over $24K). She then asked "Would you like the belly button relocated?" We had no idea what that had to do with anything and we asked her why to which she said, "Some people do that with abdonimoplasty." We asked if it was necessary and she said "no" so we didn't add it on because this was already expensive. My wife went through recovery, but we noticed that she still looked as if no fat was taken off of her. We thought it was due to swelling and that she would slim down in time. We also noticed that her belly button looked weird now and we complained about it. The… "doctor" showed us pictures and said that it was in the same place as before. PROBLEMS: Because the abdominoplasty shifted the skin around, the area between the belly button and breasts is less. Yes, techinically the belly button is in the same place, but it looks weird because procedure changed the spacing between breasts and the belly button - that is the reason people relocate the belly button, but the techi didn't expound on that. We also discovered today (3 years after the surgery) that lipo WAS NOT done on the abdomen and the ab muscled were NOT tightened because what we spoke about with the "doctor" was not written down. RESULT: Wife looks like nothing was done, has 3 large scars on abdomen and breasts that are not going away, and we have to pay for another surgery to get the abdominal liposuction done all because the doctor did not talk with her tech about what we had talked about with her. LESSON LEARNED: Do not EVER speak to the pricing tech without the doctor! Do not EVER assume that the consultation conversation will be done and do not EVER pay until the procedure is written down and you read it! NEVER be polite to cosmetic surgeons or their team or assume that they have your best interests at heart, because they will take that for weakness and talk over your head and charge you for it! (This is a business, NOT a medical facility!) I'm greatly disappointed in the lack of communication Leveque showed with her patients (my wife and I) and her technical team. The price we paid was far too high for what we got and the repairs that need to be done to fix all the problems this "mommy-makeover" caused far exceed our financial capability and probably will not be able to be fixed at all. This clinic's incompetence will be more than we can afford in money and time

Dr Leveque is not only a plastic surgeon, she is an artist! I had a tummy tuck & arm lift & the results were amazing. The staff is also excellent & makes every effort to take care of your needs. Wonderful experience.

She is an excellent Doctor!

To be a plastic surgery office, it is dirty and old. I cannot believe they perform surgery in that building. I was offered to have a face lift done in the office and i could not believe it. I will be going elsewhere. Also the back office staff were snooty.

I had breast augmentation with Dr. Leveque and ended up with a scar way up on my left breast and it was also uneven. When I went back after several months, she just said, "oh, it will become even over time," I also waited 45 minutes in the exam room and could hear her on the phone discussing her new countertops with a contractor. I would never recommend her.

I had breast reconstruction after cancer. The breast was much smaller than the other and far down on my ribcage. I developed a hernia where she took tissue for the breast. I have had six surgeries by other surgeons to try to correct her work. She was very rude when she realized things weren't right.

I consulted with several plastic surgeons in Pensacola and one in the surrounding area. Dr. Leveque was the best by far ...she made me feel confortable, was extremely knowledgeable in the procedure I was consulting about, and did not "push" me into a decision I did not want to make (like other surgeons I'd previously consulted with). I ultimately chose to have surgery with her ....and was happy I did! My results are better than I could have expected! I have so much more confidence now. I would recommend Dr. Leveque to anyone without hesitation. In my opinion, she is the best plastic surgeon on the Gulf Coast!

had a face lift with Dr. Leveque and had a wonderful result. i am very happy. she not only did an excellent job on my surgery but with these results it has increased my self confidence. would recommend her to anyone!!!!!

My breasts were empty after having children. Dr Leveque and her staff were so knowledgeable and understanding of my problem.
