Dr. Jocelyn Pilling, LCSW

Ms. JOCELYN PILLING is a LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER Jocelyn received her BA in Psychology and Child Development in 1998 and then received a Master’s in Social Work in 2002 and a second Master’s in Spiritual Psychology in 2014. She is licensed by the Board of Behavior Sciences, license # 24803. Jocelyn's primary treatment modalities when working with couples and individuals include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Strength-Based, Soul Centered and Humanistic theories. An eclectic therapy approach allows her to choose a treatment method that best fits each individual's needs. When working with young children, she uses Experiential Play Therapy to help unfold the many complex issues that children are dealing with today.Jocelyn has over twenty 20 years of work experience in a variety of mental health settings while focusing on relationship dynamics and providing therapy to couples, adolescents and children. She has extensive experience working for the Department …of Children and Family services and Department of Mental Health as a therapist for 20 years. Her focus included children and adolescents in the foster care system, in addition to providing mental health services to older adults, families and the un-housed population using a multi-disciplinary approach. She has worked with families and individuals in various settings including in-patient and out-patient substance abuse treatment centers.Jocelyn is currently working full time in private practice, her office is located in Pacific Palisades. She is able to provide therapy in person and virtually.Jocelyn frequently attends conferences and training to enhance her knowledge and is working towards publishing a book on fertility and motherhood. Jocelyn lives in the LA area with her husband and 1 year old son.
