Dr. Jodie Lynn Donovan, MD

I am sure this doctor had good reviews when she started practice, but that must have been a long time ago that she received over 3 stars. You can't call the office, no one answers. You don't see the doctor, just her nurses asst. She doesn't really care about your problems if you complain. Nothings gets done about them. And if you don't use her Pharmacy, she doesn't care for you like others. I'm not impressed. Her attitude stinks when there is a real issue at hand and she doesn't search for the answer just dumps you on her nurses assistant. Poor woman is overworked for sure doing Dr Donovans job. Good luck getting someone to answer the Phone. Tried 4 times to try to cancel an appt never getting anyone on the phone and then I got a scathing letter from Dr Donovan for not cancelling my appt so others could use the spot? What? If they had answered, that would not have been a problem! She made the appt for my physical because I changed insurance to keep her as my doctor! I was fired… from being a patient for having Humana and she liked I changed to BCBS. Go figure. I didn't even need a physical yet. Just making money on me , not that she cares about me as her patient. There are better physicians out there people!

I have been lucky enough to have Dr Donovan as my provider for over 3 years now. I have had to manage multiple medical issues during this time. She has always taken a thoughtful, proactive approach to my medical situation. If there was a situation that she wasn’t sure she should manage she always referred me to the top providers in the appropriate specialty. She always takes the time to make sure she isn’t rushing the appointment so all issues that need to be discussed are and I never walk out thinking i felt so rushed I forgot to tell her something. I feel comfortable telling her anything that is going on and trust that my care is taken seriously and handled in a professional, caring and confidential manner. I am so grateful for the day that I was able to get Dr Donovan as a provider.

My first visit with Jody Donovan was very unimpressive. I am a hospital worker myself. She sat 8 feet away, she never smiled or used my name. She was expressionless as though this was the last place she wanted to be. She was like a robot with her voice and lack of expression. She does not treat her patient like a person that has value and should be respected. I was surprised she didn't use a 10ft pole to listen to my heart with her stethoscope! I don't think she should work with patients. I have 35 year experience performing diagnostic ultrasound exams in large, busy hospitals. Thank you.
