Dr. Jody Gottlieb Abrams, MD

For those of you thinking about getting an eyelid lift for medical reasons or to give yourself a treat, my advice to you is to do it. Dr. Jody Abrams did mine and I cannot tell you how pleased I am with my procedure! I was very nervous going in for the procedure and Dr. Abrams put me at ease with his wonderful chair side manner! More than at easy, but it was the little things that made a huge difference for me. Every shot of lidocaine I have ever had has hurt like heck! I have to say, I did not even feel the normal sting of the lidocaine because of the time Dr. Abrams took to administer it. I have known Dr. Abrams for years, but never had him do such a big procedure before. His manner, his methods, his follow up and his skillful hands made this a tremendously positive experience. Thank you Dr. Abrams!

This office was extremely kind and helpful to me. They have a wonderful specialist who deals with those of us who need prisms. Dr. Abrams is a kind, upbeat, conservative treatment approach doctor. And I understand that his neurology specialty is rare and we're fortunate to have him in our area. I can't say enough nice things about him and his staff. Did I have to wait a little bit upon my arrival? Yes. But I didn't mind. When it came to his time with me, it wasn't rushed.

Absolutely the most rude and incompetent office staff I have even encountered. Expect to be there for at least 4 hours even on a follow-up visit. Dr. Abrams and his office staff caused me to lose my disability and spoke to my work/insurance WITHOUT my permission. HUGE HIPAA violation. I wouldn't trust these people with my dog let alone my own health and well-being. They have also been reported to the board for their violations.

Dr Abrams goes above and beyond. However, his office staff is atrocious. They are rude and severely incompetent. They do not know how to verify and bill insurances, get pre-authorizations, etc. They have caused me to reschedule and miss appointments due to their incompetency several times which negatively impacted my treatment. It's abhorrant. You will also be there at least 3 hours to be seen. I have been in the office for over 5 hours on one occasion. After over 6 visits Dr Abrams still does not know what is wrong with my eye and I have had to miss work and go on disability because of it. Very upsetting and frustrating.
