Dr. Joe Ike Mitchell, DDS

Dr. Joe Mitchell received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from The Ohio State University where he  also completed his orthodontic residency.  He was awarded both a Certification in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Biology degree (MS).  This special training plus over twenty years of experience in practice makes Dr. Mitchell uniquely qualified to treat the full range of orthodontic cases, from managing tooth movement to guiding facial development.   He is committed to keeping up with the current research and advances in orthodontics through continuing education.  He has shown his commitment to providing the highest level of care by being recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.  This special designation is achieved by only one in five University trained orthodontists.
Our clinical team holds the designation of Registered Dental Assistant.  This certification is awarded by the state of California only after advanced training and rigorous …testing.  Every member of our team has over ten years experience in orthodontics.  Continuing education classes keep them at the forefront of their profession to best assist you.
Our front office team is equally talented.  They bring a variety of talents to this area of our practice.  They also attend seminars regularly from which our patients benefit greatly.  You will especially like their friendly disposition and helpful attitude.
