Dr. Joe Arthur Pastrano, MD

Dr. Pastrano joined The Medford Radiological Group, P.C. (MRG) in July 2010. He complements our practice with five years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology with additional subspecialty training in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology. Dr. Pastrano received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 1996. He completed his internship in general surgery and one year of residency in Otolaryngology at the Yale-New Haven Medical Center in Connecticut. Afterwards, he served as a general medical officer in the United States Air Force at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. During this time, he discovered his love for radiology and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2005. Dr. Pastrano obtained his fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and was an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University. In 2006, he left Wake Forest to …become an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky and currently holds a part-time assistant professorship at UK. He completed an additional fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2010. Dr. Pastrano is a board-certified radiologist by the American Board of Radiology.
