Well the dr him self is great , but that’s where it stops. Front office is terrible they don’t even greet you. The telephone system is AWFUL the wait 10 to 30 minutes. His nurse Connie speaks to me as if I were a child, could care less about seeing her again. To get a appointment it’s at least 6wks or you have a choice of a PA. They are not and never will be a Doctor. They won’t even let you make an appointment with one of the other doctors. Guess they are afraid that you may like them better.

Changed my review due to the lack of care of the front office and seeing everyone has the same issue. First off, I'm showing the dr all of these bad reviews that pretty much all have the same complaint. The back office. Completely rude and they couldn't care more. You would think that with so many patients complaining about this place that it would be a game changer. Proof is right here. You clearly see that there are ZERO cares given. My doctor is great, it's the people behind the phones that are a joke. If you want a Dr.'s office that cares about you, go somewhere else. The second you need anything (referrals, test results, ect) other than money, they won't do a thing. If I could change this review to no stars, I would. Read all the reviews on how bad these people are...the complaints are are all the same. Good Lord, what does it take for the Doctor's to figure out this issue...are they that ignorant?? Pretty sure they just don't care...STAY AWAY.

This is a general review regarding my experience with Clear Lake Family Physicians based on over 25 years of visits. You may ask why I had continued using this establishment based on the comments in the review - well it's simple - location , location , location. They had been in my immediate neighborhood and when ill that convenience was paramount. Based on my experience last week, I have terminated this relationship AND been moved to post this message. Without fail, over the past 25 years is has always been difficult to schedule appointments, the phone is not answered and messages are not returned. When you can speak to a receptionist the attitude it generally non-responsive to your needs and the appointments are not available at convenient hours. Independent of the info on their web site, they open late, and close early, i.e. early and late appointments are just not available even if you attempt to book well into the future. The appointments unfailingly run late, but… seldom has the lobby wait time been more than 30 minutes after the appointment time. On several occasions I have been forgotten in the room (more than once for more than an hour) and been forced to leave the room wander the halls and find someone. I have been mis-diagnosed once. During the flu pandemic a few years ago I was diagnosed as having the flu when it was really a major sinus infection. Wait time to check out and pay is, without fail, very long. The staff is invariably doing everything but paying attention to the patients. Apparently filing is their highest priority. And just last week, I need to check in for a simple sinus infection. After 25 years of visits they could not locate my records. I informed the receptionist I had been a patient for 25 years and asked her to try again and not until we did this dance THREE times was she able to find my records. I was told that because I had not visited in 3 years that I was now considered a"new" patient and that the next new patient appointment was 2 weeks away. When I stated that I could not wait 2 weeks due to this being a rapidly intensifying condition I was put on hold. In a bit the receptionist returned and I was told "you are a new patient and we are not accepting new patients at this time" Period. Well Clear Lake Family Physicians, good riddance to you - I found an ENT specialist and was seen the next day - and had awesome serve to boot! I suggest, dear reader, that you avoid this establishment at all cost.

He is very informed and listens to your problems. I have used him for over six years and is one of the best doctors I have been to. He does not over medicate to try to cure a problem.
