Dr. Joel William Anderson III, MD

My first experience with this doctor was absolutely horrible! He comes in and starts asking my boyfriend what had happened and then starts explaining various reasons what could have happened or didn't happen and he just comes off condescending towards a person struggling. Literally don't know how he still has a job considering how badly his customer service is. The staff is relatively nice the front desk lady is the sweetest, but the doctor needs to sleep more or find a different job because his attitude is ridiculous for an urgent care doctor.

I saw Dr Anderson several years ago and never wrote an evaluation even though it was a bad experience. I'm not talking about my illness. I'm talking about him......A very disagreeable guy......but I wouldn't care if he was professional and effective. He wasn't.......I wouldn't recommend him to anyone......I'm surprised he is still employed as a doctor.

I've had the displeasure of receiving "care" from this guy 4 or 5 times over the past few years between myself, my mother and my kids and he is hands down THE RUDEST person claiming to care for people I've ever met. He has zero compassion and I honestly dont understand how this man still has a job here. It's a great hospital and we've always been treated amazingly by other staff. Mr Anderson needs to find a different career....one that doesnt involve any interaction with human beings.

I WAS HAVING PAIN IN MY UPPER RIGHT SIDE ABDOMINAL AREA AND A SWOLLEN BELLY. I TOOK SEVERAL DIFFERENT MEDS FOR STOMACH ACID CRAMPS ETC AND BUT NOTHING SEEM TO HELP SO I GO TO THE ER IN MWC OKLA, DR. JOEL W ANDERSON DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL.! A NURSE WALKS IN SAYS TO GO AHEAD AND UNDRESS FROM THE WAIST DOWN I THOUGHT THEY WHERE GOING TO XRAY MY STOMACH TO SEE IF THERE WAS BLOCKAGE OR SOMETHING BUT NOOOO . HERE COMES MR ANDERSON. HE TELLS A NURSE TO GAVE ME A COCKTAIL AND SOME KIND OF MED THAT NUB MY THROAT. HIS ASST TOOK BLOOD LEFT ME IN THE WAITING ROOM 3 1/2 -4HRS THEN COME BACK TELLS ME TO SEE A SPECIALIST AND GIVES ME A NUMBER TO DO A FOLLOW UP. I CALL THE NUMBER GOT HUNG UP ON TWICE AFTER THEY ASKED IF I HAD INSURANCE AND I SAID NO THEN I FINALLY GET A WOMAN ON THE PHONE WHO SAID SHE SUGGEST SINCE I HAVE NO INSURANCE AND AM STILL HAVING PAIN TO GO TO ANOTHER ER IN THE CITY !! WOW THIS DOCTOR IS ONLY IN THE HEALTH CARE FOR THE MONEY NOT BECAUSE HE CARES ABOUT PEOPLE LIVES… I AM CALLING THE BBB AND WHATEVER PLACES I CAN TO TURN THIS RUDE,HEARTLESS

He came in mad at me already and he doesn't know me. He ripped my vagina and said it's my fault cause i wouldn't relax my legs. Then he misdiagnosed me. The rudest Dr I've ever had. Remember this name so if you get him then immediately ask for a different Dr. That's your right

I went in for some blisters that turned into an infection that started to streak red overnight. He charged me $1296.00 for walking in the room and looking at the blisters. I kid you none he was in the room for less than 5 minutes and did not even put on gloves so this equates to $15,552 an hour. He decided to diagnosis me for out of control HIGH Blood Pressure (which I do not have) then preceded to dictate that I do have it and even wrote it on the discharge papers. When I followed up with my REAL Doctor, they stated that the higher than normal Blood Pressure was due to having the infection. This guy was rude and confrontational when I challenged him about his professional opinion. In Addition, either this Dr. or Emergency Physicians does not take my insurance, so the battle began They REFUSED to negotiate with my insurance charging the full amount. I will NEVER go back to Alliance Health Hospital due to them having a Doctor like him on Staff.

My symptoms were chest pains,trouble breathing,&heart palpitations. Without administering any tests or procedures he came to the conclusion it was panic attacks. He then told me in a very rude and abrupt way that he would treat me with a shot" ONLY" if I "had a ride standing in the room in 15 minuets or less" I wasn't able to find a ride that quickly and told him I would just go home and ask 911 what I should do. He then said because I "threatened to call 911" I was being "discharged" with no tests,procedures or help whatsoever. Calling and asking 911 is MY right and should not be a "threat" to him in any way. I was basically punished for excersizing my right to emergency care. Terrible experience and only time in my life I've been treated this way by a medical doctor. I would NOT recommend Dr Anderson and will not be going back.

I saw Dr Anderson 2 months ago. It was a bad experience. He was condescending and abrupt. In addition his diagnosis was wrong. He said I had a skin infection and prescribed an ointment. My condition got worse. So I visited my personal physician. I had an STD I'd rather not name. By then it had progressed beyond a stage where it would have been easier to treat. Avoid Dr Anderson for 2 reasons. Poor beside manner, wrong diagnosis. I have no complaint about the other staff. They were above average.
