Dr. Joel Elmer Anhalt, DO

I have lived in many major cities over the years and, as a result, have had many different doctors. So I can say with 100% certainty that Dr. Anhalt is the best of the best! He treats the whole person, and not just the symptoms. This became clearly evident when I was going through my divorce. He took the time to LISTEN and know whats going on in my life so that he can better treat me. Most doctors only know you as a patient, but I feel that Dr. Anhalt knows me as a person. My current husband is now a patient of his and he thinks that he's great as well. Dr. Anhalt truly cares about his patients and I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Anhalt’s for over five years. He is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever encountered. He never gave up on me when many people in my life had. He always took his time in my appointments to make sure he answered any questions I had, and it never felt rushed. This is one doctor I can say I truly trust, and that goes a long way! Thanks doc, and keep up the great work.

Outstanding physician!

I was a patient of this doctor. When I was in a domestic violence shelter I had no transportation and no phone. I called from the shelter advocates office to cancel. Well, my abusive ex was stealing and refusing to forward my mail. I have evidence of all of this. So, I receive a letter over 2 months old saying I was being terminated from his practice. In tears, I called and explained everything. The secretary denied I ever called to cancel ( my advocate was present when I called). He refused to even have the professional courtesy of speaking with me. The secretary simply called me and repeated that I was terminated from the practice. At first, he seems very nice and professional. I trusted him. Beware! He clearly doesn't care about his patients. It's an act. He definitely has no empath for victims of Domestic violence.
