Dr. Joel A Baum, MD

Dr Baum has an excellent bedside manner. he is thorough and is always willing to answer questions. My entirefamily, parents, children, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts/uncles see him for their gastro follow up. I highly recommend him if you are in need of a good gastric doctor.

When I arrived at the office for the first visit I was asked for my insurance cards. I discovered that one of the two was not in my wallet. I was told I could not be seen, to schedule another appointment when I had the card. There was absolutely no concern for the seriousness or urgency of my medical condition. There were alternatives available like calling the referring doctor and asking him to fax a copy or allowing me to fax it when I returned home or bring it the next day or the next visit. The office displayed an extremely callous disregard for patient care, the concern was only monetary. My wife suggested it was the reception staff but my response was that the doctor is responsible and makes the policy, not the reception staff.

I adore Dr Baum. He is the first physician who sat and talked to me before examining me. He also suggested the least invasive procedures to help me.I recommend him 100%

man helped save my life in 1999 reccomended best surgeon in dr warren enker for surgery i needed and was himself very caring and professional, made one feel comfortabel and confident in his decisions. follow up on treatment was great and would reccomend him to anyone with a gastro problem or ordianary check up
