Dr. Joel Philip Betz, MD

Went to the ER in Payson with breathing problems. Dr. Betz was concerned, thorough and focused on my case. He is an excellent communicator, and approachable. I knew I was in good hands. Very impressed with him and the excellent nurses and staff. They had high praise for this MD as well.

Dr. Betz was the ER physician the night that I came in with symptoms of a heart attack. He was thorough, very articulate, straightforward and kind. He truly has the best bedside manners that I have every encountered. He was concise yet took his time explaining what was happening, what course of action he would like to take and answered all my questions. He recommended that I be admitted into the hospital for 12-18 hours for observation and additional tests to rule out a heart attack, but left the decision to me. I truly am grateful to have had him as my ER doctor that day.
