Dr. Joel Ivan Bohling, MD

Had doctor before he located in areas near Portland, Oregon and I was pregnate with my son. The entire nine months he only saw me twice, maybe three times at most, not once did he exam me outside of checking vitals. Nearly every appointment I had he was out of town and I was seen either just by his nurse or the other doctor who shared office. Dr. Bohling was even out of town when baby was born, a pediatrician nearly delivered the baby when another doctor came into hospital and delivered him. A lot of team work with out the help of my own doctor. I have never before or since have had such a poor excuse for a doctor. My gosh it was one scary experience, that entire nine months and a doctor I could never count on, and in constant pain from way baby was positioned through out most of the pregnancy.

Dr. Bohling gave me an excellent physical--very thorough, and better than most others I have had in the past. Very professional and efficient with no non-sense approach. Got bloodwork back in 15 minutes--did not need to go to another location at another time. Dr. Bohling discussed the results and how it fit my medical history. Excellent! Highly recommend this fine doctor!!

Nightmare doctor. Unprofessional, can't remember simple information. Prescribed wrong medication and food combination sending his patient to ER. Mixed up patients with one another. sent a 65 year old woman with arthritis and a severe compression fracture in her lower back to work after only 6 weeks. When the lady's physical therapist is saying no. Accused her of worker's comp fraud. Unbelievable!!!! He's a little angry man whose taking his issues out on his patients. Clinic staff don't seem to be too happy either. I could see him pushing balloon mortgages at a giant bank.
