Summary
Joel P. Crane, D.D.S. was raised in Delavan and graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in 1996. He attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2001. In 2005 Dr. Crane received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Crane received the following awards: Indiana University School of Dentistry Alumni Scholarship, Perry Dental Study Group Scholarship for Academic Achievement, Harvey G. Levinson Memorial Scholarship Recipient, The American Equilibration Society Award, and The Organization of Teachers Diagnosis Award. Dr, Crane joined Dr. Gene R Sorensen's private practice as an associate dentist in the summer of 2005. After working with Dr. Sorensen for two years, they decided to form a partnership. Together they changed the name of the office to Lodi Valley Dental LLP.
Dr. Crane is dedicated to staying current with new techniques and technology …as dentistry continues to evolve. To remain current in his knowledge, Dr. Crane has taken courses in digital radiology, dental implants, and sedation dentistry. In 2007, Dr. Crane became certified in Invisalign, a clear form of braces. He also completed and received certification of orthodontic study through a one and a half year program with the Academy of Straightwire and Functional Orthodontics.
Dr. Joel Crane enjoys spending time with his wife of nearly 5 years, Katie, two daughters and newborn son. In his free time, Dr. Crane enjoys playing volleyball, softball, golfing, hunting, and fishing.
