Dr. Joel N Fast, DDS

I have a severe dental phobia and they respected that and treated me with patience and respect. Dr. Fast is the kindest Dentist I have ever been to and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Fast. I’d rate his talent and work beyond 5 stars if it were possible. I needed to have a crown, but initially I needed a temporary, it was a front tooth. He created a temporary tooth by hand that would rival any perfect crown that could be individually customized. I was amazed when I saw it, his talent is outstanding. I’ve since had a new crown and it too is a perfect match in color and shape with my surrounding teeth.

I am a deputy sheriff in the town that Dr. Fast used to work at. I have Crohn's disease and the medicine I take leaches calcium from my teeth and had caused me to lose 6 teeth. When I saw Dr. Fast, I was in extreme pain. Upon looking at my teeth, he declared that I have Meth Mouth. I tried to explain to him the problem with my Crohn's and the fact that I have never touched an illegal substance. He called me a liar and said if I don't care about my teeth then why should he. It was the weirdest and worse experience I have ever had seeing a dentist. 2 months later when I saw my gastro doc and told him what happened, he angrily called the clinic where Dr. Fast worked, and was told he had been let go. I am so glad he is not in our community anymore and I am sorry for the town of Tigard.
