Dr. Joel Friedman, MD

Zero compassion. The worst bedside manner. I will never forget how awful this man made me feel. As a healthcare worker I was very ashamed of the care given when I was in need. Do better.

Dr Joel Friedman was extremely unprofessional during an experience in the ER. He makes assumptions without completing a thorough history or chart review. He was unable to objectively diagnose without his own personal bias. Nor was he able to think critically. He clearly make his medical decisions based on what is best for the system versus what is best for the patient. Would not recommend him and would strongly encourage you seek medical advice from a more qualified physician.

Excellent bedside manner, listened to all of my concerns and provided me with reassurance and compassion (something I hadn't received from a physician in quite a while. He didn't categorize my as a hypochondriac (since this is a chronic problem yet no one has been able to come up with a diagnosis). He started from scratch, an extraordinary diagnostician, and within that one visit he was able to diagnosis and set up an appointment ASAP with the correct specialists. Without Dr. Friedman, I would be no better off than the first time I was treated (by other ER doctors and specialists. If you're reading this, Dr. Friedman, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!A very grateful patient!
