Absolutely arrogant , had an un easy feel about him calling me sweat heart the whole time I was in there about a week ago. Was more focused on hitting on me then his job as a doctor

Very dissatisfied with my ER experience, when treated by Dr Gerber. I am concerned for other patients that are under his care due to the records not being correct. I am allergic to hydrocodone and this is on my list of allergies, but he prescribed this medication just the same. It was stated that I had “Uncertain Flank Pain” and that IF I wanted to I could be admitted BUT THERE was really no reason to do this, OF course, per Dr Gerber - I could always come back to the ER “if things got worse” (so the hospital can charge another deductable). Said that possibly I had a case of “shingles”, it is just so uncertain why I had Left flank pain with hematuria. When I was able to obtain my records of this ER visit, things were not correctly written, I did not take the prescription home for Hydrocodone, the discharge nurse was told about my reaction to this medication when she handed me the prescription, and she said, ”that’s OK, just tear up the prescription and you’ll be ok”. I did not… take ibuprofen, nor Percocet as it was written in my record, it was not prescribed nor told to me that I should be taking these medications.

I waited 2.5 hours for this idiot and he did nothing at all. He saw me for 5 minutes, did not review my medical history and sent me on my way. Over $400 for 5 minutes of a totally useless doctor. Oh and thanks for sending me to collections. (work related injury that was being handled by insurance but since Dr Gerber’s office chose to ignore 5 records request bill payment was delayed) obviously Dr Gerber is in this for the money as he has no skills.

I have had multiple experiences with this doctor. He is very helful and tells all possible treatment options in a caring way. I recommend this doctor, he has a good humor and will treat you well if you are in need.

Not impressed at all with this doctor as I was in severe pain and the cat scan showed clear and he suggested a spine tap which I wasn’t comfortable with at the time so he was like ok I will get your prescription ready and I was sent home.Did no blood work at all!

I was send by another doctor,never been in the ER before. The staff was very nice and professional but this doctor wasn’t pleasant at all,I got nothing from him. Only what I got a huge bill from the hospital being there 2 hours.

Dr. Gerber attended our Mother in the SMH ER. He was courteous, respectful and informative. Also we were impressed with how thorough he was. We would give Dr. Gerber a very high rating.
