Dr. Joel Gonzales is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon. Over the past 12 years, his expertise and care have kept me riding my bikes over 5000 miles a year. He asks all the right questions to ensure he fully understands my injuries, their impact on my life, and my priorities for recovery. And makes sure to answer all my questions thoroughly. He and his staff are generous with their time and respectful of mine. Most recently he treated me for shoulder calcific tendonitis. Thanks to Dr. Gonzales the excruciating pain is gone and I am back on the bike again. I highly recommend Dr. Joel Gonzales to anyone seeking expert orthopedic care.

Dr. Gonzales is an ideal physician in my opinion. I have had other surgeries on my shoulder (multiple injuries) with other surgeons and there is definitely a superior difference in Dr. Gonzales‘s work. The staff is wonderful as well. I hope I don’t need him in the future, but if I do, there’s no question in my mind that I would return to Dr. Gonzales’s clinic. I highly recommend him.

I was incredibly disappointed by my experience with Dr. Gonzales and what felt like a volume-based experience across the entire clinic. I was rushed through my entire visit and left having more questions than what I had walking into my visit. I’m now in the process of scheduling (and paying for) another diagnosis and opinion.
