Dr. Goode is great! Seen me right away when coming from out of town. Did an awesome surgery job on my shoulder. My wife and I can’t thank him and his staff enough for all their help.

Dr. Goode is certainly the upper echelon of hand, elbow and shoulder orthopaedists! He knows his specialty. He takes time to work with you. If you have a situation where it is necessary to work with you over a time, he readily does that! His goal is in making certain that he provides the very best medicine to each of his patients, and individuality IS important to this doctor! Dr. Goode's entire team are sincerely concerned about making each patient visit pleasant, professional and accurate. We have heard a couple of people complaining about their long wait in seeing Dr. Goode. My response to those impatient people is, "Dr. Goode is WORTH the wait!!" If you know ahead of time that there is a possibility that you may have a wait, then you won't be disappointed. Personally, I appreciate being able to wait to be seen by the very best!! One reason that doctors run late is because they are taking necessary time to treat patients with the utmost of care. I don't mind waiting, because there… may come a time that I am the person who in need of, and is receiving, the extra time during an appointment. If you don't like waits (waits at times - not always waits) and time is more important to you than expertise and treatment, perhaps you should seek a faster paced doctor who stays on time, but doesn't always take necessary time. I will only see Dr. Joel Goode, and Dr. Goode's team, for my upper extremity orthopaedic needs! ALWAYS!! Not only does Dr. Goode take care of patients in and around the Tucson area, he an other colleagues travel the globe, offering medicine and surgeries to suppressed areas. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Joel R Goode! I'm in GOODE HANDS! THANK YOU!!

Dr. Goode and his assistant Lauren took the time to thoroughly review both my MRI and x-rays with me so that I had a good understanding of my options for my shoulder pain and reduced range of motion. No cartilage left in there! Dr. Goode gave me three options to consider. Since I am an active person, I will take the time to plan out what I will need to do for total arthroplasty in the near future. In the meantime he has encouraged me to continue to do everything I want within reason. I left his office completely confident that I am in excellent hands with him and his team.

I had an appointment with Dr Goode to deal with thumb pain due to arthritis. He quickly diagnosed the issue and created an excellent plan of action that within 24 hours had relieved my symptoms and my pain. His staff was excellent; friendly and professional.
