Dr. Joel Robert Green, MD

I’ve never been treated so poorly at Evanston Hospital since the last time I had Dr Green as a hospitalist here. He is smug, argumentative, dismissive, and threatening to my recovery from a very hard-to-treat pneumonia. Overriding the pulmonary specialist’s recommendation for a potent medication, he came at me extremely offensively with a verbal battle fit for a lawyer. In fact, why did he even become a doctor? His verbal combativeness (and ability to belittle a human being) is so high, he’d make the best prosecuting attorney. Zero stars.

Faked or cheated his way through his degree. Poor clinical judgment. Dangerous in a hospital setting.

Horrible experience. Lacks bedside manners. Self important attitude. Perhaps better suited for research and not patient care.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Rude, disrespectful doctor with your typical god-complex.
