Dr. Joel Stephen Grubbs, DO

Dr. Grubbs has been my PCP for the last 5 years. Recently, he performed an unnecessary and unsuccessful surgery on my skull. Before the surgery, I asked how much this would cost me after my insurance paid. His response was, “I have never seen anyone charged for one of these procedures. If you are charged anything I will take care of it.” I agreed. After the unsuccessful surgery, I was billed almost $400. After 4 months of trying to get the charge “taken care of”, I was finally forced to pay the bill under threat of affecting my credit rating. Dr. Grubbs was good to me for 5 years — but in the end it is clear he cares more about money than his patients.

I had the same doctor for 15 years and he retired. I am so happy i found Dr Grubbs. He is so kind and compassionate. I would HIGHLY recommend !
