Joel B. Hayden, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oneonta, graduating in 1988. In addition to general optometry, Dr. Hayden specializes in Orthokeratology and has developed his brand called H.A.L.T. (Hayden Advanced Lens Therapy). He also focuses on contact lenses, RGP, and scleral. Dr. Hayden became an optometrist because he loved optics and wanted to help people. He enjoys helping to improve others' quality of life. With nearly 100 children in his system, he has almost stopped the progression of myopia in all of them. He holds a first-degree black belt in MMA, along with his three boys. He is an avid Cross-fitter, having obtained his L1 Certification in 2009.
