he took the time during my exercises to explain to me the particular benefit of each one and why it was important. he never got upset me over any reluctance on my part to an exercise but he made me in the end want to exercise which is something that i had never done. the home aide who came from the hospital told me that Joel was the best around, and boy was she right

Following serious knee surgery, I could not envision how I would simply recover, much less return, to the activities I enjoyed or needed to perform before my injury. I thought that the continuity of treatment from Joel was instrumental to measure my progress, much of which was not linear. Ten months following my surgery I was hiking on glaciers in Iceland!
