Dr. Joel Ellis Holloway, MD

Dr. Holloway was extremely rude and condescending during my visit. He did not bother to listen to my concerns and treated me like I was stupid. He belittled me the entire appointment, and I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time. He acted very arrogant and self-righteous. I would never recommend him to anyone.

This man needs to hang up his hat and stop seeing patients. I took my son to see him. After he diagnosed him, he was ready to give him steroid shots in his head without any other options or explanation. When I started asking questions, he was very condescending and talked to me like I was stupid. Then, when I told him I didnt want to do the injections just yet and that I wanted a second opinion, he laughed at me and made a very cocky, offputting comment. I can't stand doctors like him and I will never set foot in his office again. DO NOT GO TO HIM!

This guy has no respect for his patients. I told him I was having side affects from the medicine he was shooting in my arms. He tells me the medicine does the opposite to what I was co.ai I g about and he wasn't going to change the medicine. After all of that, he proceeded to walk out and mumbled you dont have to take the shot. Doctors are suppose to help people, not be rude and sarcastic. May be time for him to retire. What's crazy. I paid for this awful doctor visit. Invest your money with a doctor that cares.

I have been to Dr. Holloway every year or two for probably twenty years..... he is definitely a professional and quick to diagnose .... he also does not fool around and reschedule a lump or bump or cyst that needs to be removed.... I love his efficiency... I drive an hour each way and still think he is much faster than waiting two hours in a waiting room.. Yes he is to the point... I love it... One of the things that tells me he is high character..... he has the same employees for many years... every one of them has been nothing but nice and professional to me...

Very Rude and no bedside manner. Went for procedure and was so painful. He just stopped and said I’m not going to do it. He makes you feel worthless

I have been going to Dr. Holloway for twenty plus years! Also, he has treated members of my family! I personally think Dr. Holloway is GREAT! He is very knowledgable in everything he does! He has ALWAYS been nice to my family and me! This is why I'm going to see him tomorrow for at least the 20th plus time in my life. I have also ran into him at local restaurants etc. Again, always nice!! His staff ALWAYS will find a slot to get you in the office for a visit instead of making you wait weeks or months. I highly recommend Dr. Joel Holloway!

If you want something diagnosed, treated, and taken care of, go to Dr Holloway - one of the most knowledgeable physicians I've ever met. If you get butt hurt easily and need pampering or told how intelligent your 'Internet Diagnosis" is, try someone else. After going to Dr Holloway for over 18 years, I've never once known him to be rude, condescending, or malicious in any way. He is very direct, straight forward, and a breath of fresh air in a much too "beat around the bush" world. Couldn't be happier with my Dermatologist and would recommend him to anyone looking for expert medical care.

Dr. Holloway was the rudest, most condescending doctor I have ever been to. He didn’t even listen to my concerns about my skin; he said it was caused by me scratching too much. He was belittling and treated me like a child. I left his office in tears not understanding what is wrong with my skin. He is way too mean to be allowed to be a doctor. If I could give him zero stars I would. No human being should ever be treated that badly!

I am shocked to see 28 bad ratings for this doctor. People looking for personality look elsewhere. People looking for GOOD results call him. My first visit with this doctor I was warned of his personality And told him so! He accepted my statement with grace and added “But I am good”. And that he is a very compassionate, sincere, knowledgeable Doctor in his field. Shame on doctors in Norman who recommend doctors in Edmond or elsewhere when such a caring and worthy Doctor is right here in their home town.

This is by far the worst Dermatoligist I’ve ever been too! Not only was he very very rude, he dismissed my itching condition that I’ve had for years after going to him 2 x’s he said well if nothing helps the itching we might as well give it up!! He is rude and pompous as well as his staff! They explain nothing and act like your an insult when they tell you what it “could” be ! Do not use this office !!!!
