Dr. Joel Irwin Last, MD

Never had any of these issues other people write. Only positive. He's very professional and informative. Asks questions, and listens He has helped me alot. Returns phone calls. Very compassionate and kind. Iam not a drug user nor do I drink or smoke. Iam very glad to have found him. Highly recommend

I am a patient of Dr. Lasts and I have to say, even though he is not on time, he is a very good listener and leads you to solve a problem or understand that it is just life and deal with the problem. I've been to others who did not listen to me because they always talked about themselves the whole time. I know that if I need to talk to someone he will call me back when I need the help. He is often behind schedule because he is booked, so he will be late. I'll take late over a non listener any day.

Does not listen or care about your symptoms. Will constantly talk over you. Prescribed dangerous medication combinations. Does not listen to you! to the point of telling him serious reactions from medications and telling me to then double that medication. Either incompetent or doesn’t care. In my experience , both. DO NOT waste your money or your time.

Dr. Last will continually talk over you and not listen to your symptoms. He will only offer common sense knowledge (as if you wouldn’t have already tried that) Will prescribe you dangerous medication combinations and then tell you to double the dosage after you tell him of the very bad side effects. DO NOT waste your time or your money. He is either completely incompetent or does not care but from my experience , probably both.

After my psychiatrist of over 15 yrs retired, I was forced to find another. I was terrified ; it had taken me walking away from four very dysfunctional psychiatrists until I found the first one. To my shock, Dr. Last was great. He strikes the perfect balance of professionalism in his interactions. I am thrilled and have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Last.

A disgrace to his profession.

I would recommend Dr. Last to anyone who needs mental health care or neurology treatment

I have been under the care of Dr. Last for approx. 10 years now. People are cruel when they go to certain doctors , especially those in the medical profession that have the ability to write prescriptions for psychiatric reasons. I must say that Dr. Last has, and continually does, inquire about the wellness of myselfI am forever indebted to Dr, Last, He truly listens to me, and can spot any problems that may be troubling me, that I am may not so quite aware of.
