Dr. Joel Wayne Match, MD

Went to see joel match for a work related injury to my shoulder and with out taken x-rays he came to the conclusion that I have a brused shoulder and told me that I need thpory the therapy was just making it worse so I went to a nother doctor and as it turned my rotator cuff was completely torn. To make a long story short I wish I could get paid for what I think.

I had written some angry comments regarding Joel Match. They need to be erased. Dr. Joel Match is a good doctor that cares very much about his patients

Dr. Match is a very diligent professional. He is very caring and spent a lot of time listening to my medical problems. I would highly recommend this Dr, as he care greatly about his patients and the outcomes.

I only saw him once to get a birth control implant, but what an unpleasant experience! First, no apologies from him or the staff when my appointment started 40 minutes late. I couldn't taken that, though, if the appointment had been better.I asked about birth control options, and said I was concerned some of them would cause weight gain. His only response? "You know what's worse than weight gain? Pregnancy." He wasn't trying to be funny. He wasn't, anyway.I then expressed concern that hormonal birth control would interact with a medicine I was taking- other doctors had told me it might. He shrugged, and said "Well, you have to weigh the pros and cons. If you got pregnant, you'd have to get off that medication anyway." Nothing about odds, signs to look for... he didn't even acknowledge the possible interaction until I brought it up! That's not just incompetent, that's dangerous.These are direct quotes- I just saw him, and they stuck in my mind. I suppose if you already know what you… want, he's fine as an insurance-grubbing birth control vendor, but don't go to him looking for any kind of a doctor.

Dr. Match is a great doctor. He performed a minor surgery for me. He diagnoised my breast cancer and did an excellent job communicating that news to me. And, most importantly, he expedited my care and referred me to an Excellent Surgeon and Oncologist. I am forever greatful.

Dr. Match is a very good doctor, however, he isn't the kindest person for being an OBGYN. He has very little conversation, comes in performs the procedure and walks out. He isn't very warm and you can feel like he's judging you. His nurse, however, is the sweetest person and waiting is minimal. Also, if you need to get in to see him, they work out a way to squeeze you in.
