Dr. Joel David Mclarry, MD

I first met Dr. McLarry at OHSU where I had my third open heart surgery. He was one of many doctors that looked after me during my recovery. When I needed to choose a new cardiologist at Kaiser I chose him. I thought his name looked familiar, but I wasn't sure it was him. At my first scheduled appointment at Kaiser I was over whelmed with emotion when I saw Dr McLarry. I felt an immediate connection. He exhibits all the qualities that you would want in a caring cardiologist.

Dr. McLarry was referred to me by my pcp at the Vancouver Clinic last May 2018. He is an excellent dr, caring for my overall health when considering medications and other medical treatments. I learned about CT coronary artery calcium score because dr McLarry recommended that I have this test done at OHSU to assess my risk for coronary heart disease. I'm glad to have met dr McLarry, he saved me from the potential dangerous side affects of over medication resulted from the "standard treatment" by many doctors. I'd recommend dr McLarry to patients who have questions about cardiovascular disease. My best wishes to him for his medical career and personal life. Cathy
