They send us all the way to Iowa City just for my daughter check up we're going to change dentist

BEWARE of this dentist/office! He gets an A+ for marketing by having a fun office w/ games & Disney decor but practically anything beyond pediatric cleanings & ortho referrals he will want to complete at the hosp, under general anesthesia. The expected cost he quoted for 2 simple fillings w/ his treatment was between $8,000-$10,000. I got a 2nd opinion & they were placed in the dentist office, w/ only Novocaine, no issues for $300. After experiencing this I have now heard several cases (7) of people I know where he also proposed similar treatment at the hosp for their children. Seems to be his routine, excessive treatment. He will also NOT release your records & charges $20 to do so. I still do not have my children's records after multiple requests over 3 months & paying his fee. Kim his wife & office manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. If you value your children's proper healthcare over them having "fun" at the dentist, do NOT take them to Dr. Peterson.

Great dentist with a practice really set up to make kids comfortable. Fun things for them everywhere you look which makes going to the dentist something they can actually look forward to. Dentist tends to talk rapidly and not very clearly so it can be hard to hear everything. Excellent with the kids but can be a little less than great with parents when explaining actual dental conditions requiring treatment.

Staff (speciffically the supervisor, who happens to be his wife) is extremely Unprofessional and rude. She did not have any other job to do than resolve a billing question now, unfortunately due to her, our child will never utilize this dentists services again.
