Dr. Joel Steven Schuman, MD

I saw Dr. Schuman for the 2. time within 1 year on 3--14--2018 .When he enters the room one feels trust and confidence--He exudes a feeling of calm and an understanding of the problems a patient has.He takes time and answers all Question after an extensive examination.His findings and potential Diagnosis will be followed up within 6 month--I feel so utterly relieved to be under his care .His staff and Melissa on the front desk were polite ,well mannered with a friendly disposition--NYU Langone is indeed fortunate to have Dr.Schuman as the chair of this Department

I have been so blessed to have this Dr. to treat my eyes and the surgery he has done has been so successful. My glaucoma had been very aggressive . it is under control now , thanks to this Dr, in his field.. He is by far so excellent ++++++.
