Dr. Shulkin is a pediatrician in Pediatric Developmental Medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Previously, Dr. Shulkin was a developmental pediatrician at Greenville Health System in South Carolina.Dr. Shulkin gradated from New York University School of Medicine, followed by a post-graduate degree at Harvard School of Public Health. He went on to complete his residency at San Antonio Military Pediatric Consortium and a pediatric fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston. Dr. Shulkin’s clinical interests include assessment and treatment of developmental and learning disorders including autism spectrum disorders, communication disorders and academic learning.

Truly couldn't have asked for a better Developmental Pediatrician. There was not one negative thing. It's truly evident in his interaction with our son as well as with us, that he cares for his patients and wants to help. Explained everything in a way we could relate and truly understand our son's diagnosis. THANK YOU!!!

We visited Dr. shulkin for my son for an Autism evalaution. In my opinion he is not qualified in this area. According to Dr Shulkin my son had communication issues. After having another evaluation with anoth Dr in the same practice it was clear that my son is on the Autism Spectrum. Because of this, I lost many months waiting for this evaluation and having to wait for another one. If he was qualified, my son would have had help sooner. Extremely disappointed.

He spent a lot of time listening to my concerns. Finally we found a dr. that would listen to all my concerns. He tested my kid and he diagnosed him with autism. I was very angry because I went to several doctors and no one said my kid could have autism. Dr Shulkin spent a lot of time asking my questions and return our calls pretty soon. I met few parents whose kids see Dr Shulkin and they are pretty happy with him. I understand it is pretty hard to have a kid with special needs, but he does everything he can to make life easier for our kid and for us. I am grateful we found him and finally have a diagnosis. My son is doing much better.

My son saw Dr Shulkin for an Autism evaluation and I am now not too sure if he is even qualified to diagnose Autism. I am extremely dissapointed in the evaluation that I received.
