I finally found a physician that takes the time to truly listen and then works as a partner to provide the best alternatives. Dr Silverfield treats you with respect and co-designs a truly individual plan of care that makes sense. Unlike other physicians, I have never had to wait long after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. Even so, I have never felt rushed during his time with me and felt like I had his undivided attention. I've found he is detail oriented, and possesses great interpersonal skills. Highly recommended.

Very caring doctor

Every time I come for an appointment theveait time is longer than an hour, no one comes to the room and explain the delay. It’s just horrible, good provider but NEVER on time.

I have been treated by Dr. Silverfield for well over 10 years and have always found him to be a kind, caring and extremely capable provider. He treated my father in his later years, again with nothing but compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Second visit was as bad as the first with the Doctor telling me how I feel instead of listening to me tell HIM how I was feeling. He say's I have Fybromyalgia but does not wish to treat it because I am on to many other meds at this time but he wants to keep seeing me? What on earth would I need to see him for, to fatten that wallet maybe? When I explain the pain I am in it's not hard to read that either he is in disbelief or he just doesn't care. If he had spent more time talking to me than talking to his computer maybe I would have felt justification for going to see him but he seems to pat himself on the back as he leaves the room in mid sentence before you can get a word in edge wise. Lesson learned for me and I hope for others reading this.

I am going to this doctor tomorrow and see very mixed reviews, however, for the most part, people seem very happy with him. I always take these reviews with a grain of salt since humans are a very diverse group and while one could have what they view as a bad experience, others do not consider a bad experience. I am hoping to find a compassionate, caring, attentive provider that wants me to be the healthiest me possible. I'll definitely let you know by completing a review after my visit. I have had a extremely difficult time finding a good provider. I don't care if I have to wait a little while if the care I receive is as I've listed above. I have been in doctor's offices in Florida where I don't even see the provider I'm scheduled to see. So wish me luck! I'll let you know what I think once I meet him. I am expecting the best, however, since I've done my research this time.

I find Dr. Silverfield to be caring and compassionate. He listens to your concerns and explains things in a way that is easily understood

I have been going to Dr. Silverfield almost two years. I have stayed with him despite the awful front office staff, even at mew location same poor work ethic. In the beginning he took the time to listen but we never have gotten to the root cause of my illness . He throws out a generic diagnoses and despite my telling him all the meds I have tried with other rheumatologists unsuccessfully I had to go thru the whole retinue with him only to discover....they are ineffective. He does not seem to care to get to the underlying reason for my chronic pain and recurring symptoms. I go to my appts and it is always the same. He just wants me off his roster at this point because he can not do anything to help me nor has he tired to get my pain under control. I guess because of his location he mostly sees clients that are drug-seeking but I have been living with this pain for over 9 years and thought he would be the one to work at properly diagnosing. At recent appts he has been rude, abrupt and… arrogant and yelled at me once that I have connective tissue disorder and was I happy now to have a Dx. Seems out of touch with the fact that fibromyalgia is a real disorder. He labels patients with that when he can't take the time to figure out what is really wrong. I will no longer be seeing this Dr. Finding a good doctor is hard to find in Florida but its important to be under the care of someone who does actually care for your well-being and works towards a cure or at least to manage your pain.

I saw Dr. Silverfield as a new patient a few weeks ago and LOVE HIM! I don't know who the other reviewers are talking about when they say that he doesn't give time to his patients, has inaccurate diagnoses, etc. I was very impressed with him, his staff and the service I received. His bedside manner is superb and I'm glad to have him as my new rheumatologist!
