By far the worst doctor I’ve ever experienced, and i went thru 4 years of chemotherapy. He needs to retire or go work at a fast food joint.

I came into wheaton hospital franklin because wheaton urgent care franklin said they thought my symtoms were serious and they couldn't help me. i went to the emergency room at wheaton franklin and dr joel smukowski said this is a triage hospital and that they didn't have time for me and my tummy ache! he told me i had to leave. i told him i had bad stomach pains and he didnt seem to care. found out the next day i had C-Diff, Clostridium difficile. an extremely contagious disease. A life threating infection. he didnt seem to know or care. the people who took the stool sample called my old clinic the next day. thankfully they called me even though i wasnt a patient with theirs. it cost me alot of out of pocket and i suffered for quite soom time! this man is no doctor.

Terrible bedside manner I was seen by him in urgent care unit in Franklin I would never be treated by him ever again...I would never referee him to anyone.
