Dr. Joel Anthony Trotter

Dr. Trotter will dismiss your issues and ask “is it really effecting your life that much?”. He missed a diagnosis caused by a virus that progressively got worse due to that and caused me to become incredibly ill. The medical neglect and dismissal caused me to become bedridden for half a year, malnourished, and need PT for a year to walk again. Years later I am still recovering from the severity of my chronic illnesses. Other Drs were able to diagnose me once they heard what virus I had, and had the understanding a virus can cause post-viral illnesses. Be mindful when seeing this Doctor that if you’re a young woman you may be dismissed.

My wife saw Dr Trotter in the hospital for a blood infection. He is serious but nice and always helpful. She had a reaction at home to the IV medicine and he promptly arranged to have it changed. I was able to reach him at 10pm with minimal delay. We will now see him in his office to make sure she is progressing.
