Note that I don't usually write reviews. I had an appointment a few weeks ago. Dr. Abood was 35 min late for my appointment. I had to follow up twice on having an order put into the system following our appointment, and even when the order was put into mychart, it took the office 2 days to let me know it had been done. I have had a few (thankfully simple) medical questions that I sent a message about on February 3rd. I can see that the staff viewed it the same day. I called today (Feb 6th) to follow up and was told that, no, I can not speak to a nurse to have my questions answered, but rather they would send another message, and that the office then has 2 more business days to answer "per their policy" ?!?! I'm not sure how this is helpful for patients. As a long standing patient, with plenty of Henry Ford Hospital affiliations, I can confidently say I would not visit this office again. It is clear they don't put patients first. There is no follow through and this leaves a patient… wondering if the staff and doctor in this office actually have a good sense of clinical management of the patients. I want to have faith that the Dr's I trust with my health and medical care are providing me with the same level of care they would want for themselves or their loved ones, providing care in a safe and timely manner. This is not the case here.

Great service helped me better understand my situation and made me feel more comfortable with the communication and understanding.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing my experience has been with Dr. Abood. Her empathetic bedside manner made all discussions comfortable and thorough. Her expertise has given me answers to medical issues that have been misdiagnosed for years. I am forever grateful for her and her team to finally have relief from being plagued years of discomfort and illness.

Dr. Abood is amazing. She is knowledgeable and caring. She took the time to listen to my concerns and offer a treatment plan.

Dr. Abood is a caring, skilled and empathetic provider. I always felt listened to, had all my many questions answered and felt she cared about me as a patient.

She was great explained everything to me. I can't wait for her to do my surgery.
