Dr. Joey Dale Fowler, MD

I've been a patient with Dr. Fowler for a number of years but this week was treated extremely poorly by his staff. During a confrontational conversation with a nurse there, she literally yelled at me and said, "I've been a nurse for 40 years!". I called the office manager to complain and was left truly humiliated and dissatisfied with this experience. Unfortunately, having a positive experience there may depend on factors that should not matter. Today, I was not treated with respect and definitely not like I have been a patient with Dr. Fowler for over 10 years. I will be placing a formal complaint but in the meantime, I would not recommend Dr. Fowler's clinic.

He somehow assumes that you are always there for a new drug. His son died of an overdose so he assumes everyone wants pills. I hate pills and don’t want them, but he has accused me of trying to get pills??? He’s nuts. He’s also done this to 3 different people I know. We had to choose a better doctor.

Dr. Fowler is awesome and so is his staff??

I read the reviews and always like to form my own opinion. I have to say I loved Dr. Fowler but I would have to agree when it comes to his nurse. She seems scattered and unorganized. I too, was informed of her loss then she proceeded to solicit money, I felt very uncomfortable.

I went to see Dr. Fowler, he was very nice and I liked him very much. The problem is his medical assistant, Melissa. She was too personal in sharing the death of her brother which don't get me wrong that is very sad the problem is that solicits money from you which in my opinion is inappropriate. She comes off friendly and helpful but she drops the ball. I have heard this from many friends and happen to know some of her former co-workers. I was told she is a con artist and lines her on pockets with the money. I look on OSCN confirms she is constantly being evicted. I highly recommend him but watch out for her!

I had my annual physical. It went extremely well. Dr fowler was personable and didn't try to push me out the door to go to the next patient I will look forward to my followup appt.

Dr Fowler has been my PCP for about 7 years. I would never change doctors. He always spends time with me, he remembers who I am when he comes into the room, he remembers my medical history, and always assures me if I'm having questions or concerns. I never have to wait a week to hear back about blood work or other problems. He personally calls to give a diagnosis. Absolutely amazing.

I have been a patient for 6 years and find him to be kind, attentive and thorough. He makes it easy to talk to him and he makes notes about everything. He reviews all my labs and send them with a personal note as to his review. Trust him with my life!!

Dr. Fowler is not just any dr. He is kind, compassionate, and really does care. As a single mother, I trust him with not only my care but my children's care as well. Definitely a recommend!

Dr. Fowler is a kind, caring, extremely knowledgable doctor... He sees everybody in our family and we would highly recommend him to anyone. Good docs are very hard to find and he is certainly one of them!
