Summary
After completing his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2002, Dr. Joey Helton accepted the Dental Director position at Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center in Pendleton, Oregon. While at this community health clinic, he learned to appreciate the Native American culture and got to experience the Western lifestyle. In October 2005, Dr. Joey accepted an associate position with his brother, Dr. John, at Helton Family Dental Care, P.A. in Amory, Mississippi.
Together, they practice comprehensive dentistry for the entire family. Dr. Joey believes in treating patients as he wants to be treated.
Dr. Joey attended the University of South Alabama and Springhill College for his undergraduate studies. He is married to Holli Shields Helton of Amory. They enjoy occupying their time with their young son, Mason, and Boston terrier, Turbo. Dr. Joey dabbles in many hobbies including motorcycles, baseball, water sports, snow sports and reading.
