Dr. Johann David Farley, MD

This is the worst doctor I could imagine. He’s rude and doesn’t care about his patients

Dr. Farley is a skilled con man who preys on vulnerable patients with mental health or addiction issues. He is arrogant and condescending. He will not listen to your concerns about your health and will vehemently belittle you if you don’t understand or ask question about his “treatments”. He insists on having a family member at your appointments so he can manipulate their concerns to justify more and more appointments. If possible, he will interject himself into your legal issues to use as leverage for continued visits. He spends a majority of every appointment talking about politics, religion, golf, or the weather, never addressing the issues you are seeing him for. He rarely leaves his desk and will pass you off to “specialist” so he doesn’t have to treat you. He will claim you failed drug tests and when the lab/toxicologist explains he’s misreading the test, he blames them. His wife works in his office and is as rude and unprofessional as he is. If you voice your concerns about his… services, he will get childishly irate. He will expel you from his “treatments program” without a cause leaving you to deal with all the repercussions. If you are considering seeing Dr. Farley PLEASE do your research. There are many good addiction/mental health professionals in the area who actually care about their patients. NO ONE deserves to be treated the way Dr. Farley treats his patients.

This guy overcharges, asks his clients to bring cash to every appointment to pay toward their copay and if you’re a minute late he charges you for another appointment the next day and if you’re late again he will make you come in a third day and charge again- on going over and over. He is a scam artist- FORMER NARCOTICS DETECTIVE who admittedly tells you that he switched to being a ‘doctor’ for the income. He needs to be investigated as he has been scamming you and your loved ones.

I am so sorry to Dr. Farley and it was just meant to be a joke. I didn't mean for my review to be taken seriously. Dr. Farley is an excellent doctor. This was just a joke and again I apologize. It was immature of me to post this.

Then he made me drink a green thick liquid substance. After 5 minutes I started bleeding internally and then I peed out 3 kidney stones. He told my son they were diamonds. Then my son said "like the chocolate you put in my mouth earlier." He had sweat stains on his armpits. Then he said "wow its hot in here." He started growling, stripped down, and climbed up the walls like a squirrel. My son stared in awe. Then he pulled out a pregnacy and std test.

I walked into the office with my son thinking it was a regular check up. The lady at the front desk gave me directions to the room. When I entered I saw a grown man in a fortnite shirt with a strong odor emanating off him. He said "sit down" in a deep and rude voice. Then he reached for his pocket and what he pulled out shocked us all.

One of the worst Dr's in Merrillville I think he was nice on one appointment the next appointment he barely spoke and was rude the few words he did speak!

Very smart, compassionate and he cares about his patients 24/7.
